 CAMP WOODSMOKE
in the Adirondacks

Parents Page - Let us introduce you to a very unique summer camping experience for girls and boys ages 8 thru 14 with a special leadership program for seniors.  Here is a camp small enough to give the camper the utmost of individual attention along with a real feeling of belonging.  Established in 1964, Camp Woodsmoke's staff of 28 lends an atmosphere of togetherness and care to their 45 campers.

Our staff is a professional one dedicated to concern and consideration.  The camp holds accreditations from:

American Camp Archery Association

American National Red Cross

New York State Health Department

Live-in campers enroll for either of the three, two-week sessions or a personalized combination of the six weeks.  Our live-in campers are Arrivals a Camp Woodsmoke boathouse limited to 45 campers.  This number provides the setting for our main objective of "Individual Attention and Concern."  Campers live in Adirondack log cabins or tents - each well supervised.  Hot showers and flush toilets are available to all.  The food is plentiful and wholesome.  Food preparation is under the direction of an experienced dietician.  The total experience of being a "live-in" camper combines an active day, good food, adequate rest, and traditional camp-family evenings to evolve a happy and adjusted child.

Session availability and rates are available upon request - email  Kris Hansen, Director, at Camp Woodsmoke today.
